Based on the decision of the Scientific Committee of the Abidi Scientific Awards, research works and articles in the fields of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Neurology have been officially added to the scope of this prestigious award. Aimed at strengthening interdisciplinary studies and advancing clinical knowledge, the 4th edition of the “Abidi Scientific Awards” will be held this year featuring these newly introduced dimensions.

Designed with the overarching objective of elevating public health standards and improving the community’s quality of life—in complete alignment with the core mission of Dr. Abidi Pharmaceuticals—the “Abidi Scientific Awards” has thus far played a highly effective role in supporting young researchers and fostering applied research across the country.

The initiative commenced in 2022, with a primary focus on the control and management of diabetes and the prevention of its complications. In 2023, it continued with a concentrated emphasis on cardiometabolic diseases. Recognizing the growing global and national significance of renal complications, the 2024 edition was centered around cardiorenal metabolic diseases. This year, the event proudly continues its legacy by incorporating the newly added therapeutic areas.
