In October 2025, on the eve of Dr. Abidi Pharmaceuticals’ 80th anniversary, a team of neurologists, accompanied by colleagues from the Immunology Department of Dr. Abidi Pharmaceuticals, traveled to Ilam province. This initiative aimed to facilitate access to effective and high-quality treatments for patients living with epilepsy, as well as to share the latest therapeutic approaches with the province’s medical community.

During this program, several patients living with epilepsy received medical consultations free of charge. Additionally, a scientific symposium was held with the participation of local physicians and neurologists in Ilam province.

Dr. Behnam Safarpour, Epilepsy Fellowship, highlighted the critical importance of patient access to effective medications, stating:

“When an individual lacks access to medication or is unable to procure it, seizures become inevitable, and this issue can severely impact the lives of the patients and their families. Unfortunately, this situation is more frequently observed in the underserved regions of the country.”

This initiative is yet another step toward realizing Dr. Abidi Pharmaceuticals’ enduring core belief: prioritizing human health and ensuring equitable access to effective treatments for all individuals, regardless of their geographic location within the country.
